National Audubon Society

If you join the National Audubon Society, you are automatically a member of your local Audubon Society and do not need to sign up separately.

Joining the National Audubon Society or renewing that membership is done directly through the National Audubon Society.  Do NOT use the Dubuque membership form for that purpose.

National members will receive the award-winning Audubon magazine.  We recommend noting the month you join, so that you will not be confused by early renewal reminders.  The minimum donation to qualify for national membership is $20 per year.  (The national website may be very confusing in this regard, suggesting larger donations/contributions.  At the time of this writing, the $20 minimum clarification was found only in an FAQ.  The minimum suggested contribution shown on the page may be higher, so that an amount of $20 would need to be entered in a separate box, likely without any confirmation that you are joining.  The national website design could change without our notice, but we hope these comments may help avoid some confusion for those wanting to join or renew online at the national level.  After joining initially, mailings may be more clear on the minimum amount, but as stated earlier, you may want to keep track of when you need to renew, since reminders may not include your renewal date.)

Dubuque Audubon Society

If you wish to join or renew membership in the Dubuque Audubon Society without joining the National Audubon Society, then please print and fill out our membership form.  Mail your completed form with payment to the address shown on the form.

Local chapter dues are $10 per year, and dues remain with the local chapter.  Our membership year runs from July to June.  

Members will receive our local chapter newsletter, Pileated Drummings.
